Industries and communities unite in the pursuit of safeguarding our environment and ensuring emissions meet stringent standards. P&P Wet Electrostatic Precipitators (WESPs) emerge as unparalleled solutions, efficiently controlling submicron particles, aerosols, acid mists, heavy metals, and more.

  • An electrostatic precipitator consists of two parallel electrodes, which are charged with a very high electric potential. The process gas is flowing in the gap between those electrodes.
  • The discharge electrode acts as a spray electrode: It creates ionized gas molecules and further charged droplets. The counterpart of the discharge electrode is the collecting electrode.
  • Since there is a strong electromagnetic field between discharge electrode and the collecting electrode, the charged droplets are moving towards the collecting electrode. The movement of the ionized gas and charged particles create an electric current.
  • The droplets are collected at the collecting electrode and form a liquid film. The collected liquid flows down the collecting electrode and precipitation is complete.
  • The clean process gas is leaving the gap between the electrodes.
  • No gas flow restrictions lead to minimal pressure drop.

Benefits

State-of-the-Art Particle Removal:Our P&P-WESP excels at filtering submicron particles (< 0.1 μm), surpassing other systems.
High Collection Efficiency:Up to 99.5 % particulate collection results in exceptionally low emissions.
Minimal Pressure Loss:No additional fans are needed. No significant increase in fan power consumption and operation cost.
Low Energy Consumption:P&P’s design facilitates lower energy usage compared to traditional wet precipitator systems.
Fast Installation:Our advanced modular design reduces erection time.
Outstanding Availability and Reliability:We employ exceptionally durable high-speed automatic voltage control systems.
Minimum Maintenance:Specially designed electrodes minimize operational maintenance, requiring only an annual inspection, translating to low operational costs.
